On 7th of July, LuckyOne Mall conducted its first ever scrabble competition in collaboration with Pakistan Scrabble Association (PSA) and expertly managed by VLEAD. The event drew a remarkable 234 participants, each eager to showcase their Scrabble prowess.
From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., players of all ages and skill levels engaged in a spirited contest, divided into three categories: Open, Qualifier, and Master. The Open category invited everyone, from beginners to seasoned players, fostering a sense of community and inclusiveness. It was a heartwarming sight to see young children competing alongside adults, all united by their love for the game.
The Qualifier category was a highlight for many, as it aimed to select the top players who would represent Pakistan in the 2024 World Scrabble Championship in Sri Lanka. The atmosphere was electric, with participants intensely focused on their boards, hoping to earn a coveted spot on the national team.
