On Wednesday, In Lahore, PM Imran Khan said in a ceremony that the new generation is not being educated in the correct way, the new generation of Pakistan is going towards destruction and what Happened at Minar-e-Pakistan On independence day was a disappointment, painful and straight out embarrassing.
He said The Seerat of Holy Prophet PBUH is very important for the young generation, as important it is to provide good quality education it is equally crucial to let the generation familiarize and learn from Seerat of Holy Prophet PBUH and integrity and honesty are the base of true leadership which should be practiced as well for character building.
English medium system that was introduced by the west was to bring a special class but it brought mental slavery, it leads to students being isolated from their native language and culture. After the independence a new system should have been worked upon with one curriculum not different ones which led to creating classes, mental slavery and three parallel systems which are English medium system, government schooling and religious seminaries.
He said, “Best intellectual people have been groomed in government owned schools in the past but with time the private sector took over leading to students become servants of alien culture and the government school system dwindled”.
The PM further added that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar have been working quietly on it and people are criticizing the work he is doing.
