Meta Platforms, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, has introduced two new AI-based features for video editing. The first, called Emu Video, creates four-second videos based on prompts such as captions, photos, or images.
The second, Emu Edit, simplifies video editing with text prompts. These tools expand on the existing Emu model, which generates images based on text prompts.
Meta’s move reflects its ongoing efforts to leverage AI technologies, staying competitive with other tech giants like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon in the AI domain. The features aim to enhance user experiences when posting videos on Meta’s social media platforms.
