Jamiat Ulema-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has organized a shutter-down strike in Quetta, Balochistan, to protest alleged irregularities in the re-polling of the PB-45 Quetta VIII constituency.
The party has raised concerns about “rigging” in the election and is demanding fair treatment and justice. To handle the situation, the provincial government has suspended mobile and internet services in Quetta.
JUI-F’s provincial leader emphasized that the protest will continue until their demands for transparent elections and equal rights are fulfilled. The strike has drawn widespread public and political attention.
