According to the official reports, the tax that is imposed on the users of mobile phone will slowly reduce right after the federal cabinet will give approval as by granting the sector of telecom industry.
However, according to a recent tweet of Ministry, it was highlighted that the approval of federal cabinet just came on the recommendations of Ministry of IT & Telecommunications.
The ministry also said that a gradual reduction of the taxes will be imposed on all the users of telecom sector and the mobile phone.
The official source also mentioned that the advance income tax for the users of mobile phone will also be reduced from the financial year of 2021 to 2022 with a percentage from 12.5% to 10% and so on in the next financial year of year 2022 to 2023 this will go further decrease to 8%.
Similarly, Minister noted that, FED- the Federal Excise Duty on the telecommunication services has also been decreased from 17% to 16%.
