Mohammad Nawaz Taken to Hospital After Injury

During the ongoing third ODI between Pakistan and New Zealand, Mohammad Nawaz, the Pakistani all-rounder, suffered a finger injury and had to be taken to the hospital for an X-ray.

Despite the injury, Nawaz completed his over before leaving the ground. At the time of the injury, Pakistan had scored 287-6 in 50 overs, with Imam-ul-Haq contributing 90 runs and Babar Azam adding 54 runs.

New Zealand was batting at 182-5 in 39 overs when the article was written. This latest injury is another setback for the Pakistani team, who have already lost Haris Sohail due to an injury during a practice session, and Iftikhar Ahmed replaced him for the last three ODIs in Karachi. The PCB has yet to release an update on the extent of Nawaz’s injury.
