Muhammad Asif Ali Reaches to Final of IBSF World Snooker Championship

Pakistan’s Muhammad Asif has successfully advanced to the final of the IBSF World Snooker Championship. Competing in the semi-final held in Qatar, Asif claimed a hard-fought 5-3 victory against Michael Georgiou from Cyprus. The frame scores of the match were intense, with Asif managing scores of 53-57, 5-71, 0-94, 6-111, 45-77, 9-73, 24-74, and 51-58. In a highlight moment, Asif achieved a century break in the fourth frame, showcasing his skill and control over the game. Despite losing the first two frames, Asif displayed resilience, winning four consecutive frames to gain the lead. Georgiou claimed the seventh frame, but Asif ultimately secured his place in the final by taking the decisive eighth frame.

This will be Muhammad Asif’s third time competing in the IBSF World Snooker Championship final. Previously, he won the championship in 2012 and 2019, demonstrating his consistent excellence and dedication to the sport. His remarkable performance in this tournament solidifies his reputation as one of Pakistan’s top snooker players, and he now has his sights set on adding a third world title to his impressive career.
