Naran and Kaghan Valley saw a big rise in visitors during the Eid holidays as 128,862 tourists, including foreign travellers, came to the region over three days. The valley remained crowded throughout the holiday period as people travelled in large numbers to enjoy the northern scenery.
Tourists spent time at rivers, lakes, forests, and open green areas. The cool weather and natural views made the region a popular choice for families and groups looking for a holiday break.
The sudden increase in visitors had a positive impact on the local economy. Hotels stayed fully occupied in many areas, while restaurants, transport providers, and small shops saw strong business during the Eid rush. Many locals said the holiday season helped boost their income.
To handle the large flow of tourists, the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) set up facilitation teams at key locations including Hussamabad, Kaghan, and Naran. These teams helped with traffic flow, guided visitors, and supported safety arrangements across the valley.
Traffic remained heavy on main roads leading into the region, especially during peak travel hours. However, coordinated efforts by authorities helped manage congestion and maintain smoother movement for travellers.
