Air Arabia, a well-known Sharjah-based low-cost carrier, has expanded its flight network by introducing a new route to Egypt’s iconic Giza City. This significant announcement opens up convenient travel options for passengers, connecting Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) to Sphinx International Airport (SPX) in Giza, which is situated on the western side of Cairo.
Starting from December 6, Air Arabia will operate five non-stop weekly flights on this route. Giza City is renowned for its historical treasures, including the Great Sphinx and the pyramids, making it a popular destination for tourists and travelers interested in Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.
This addition marks Air Arabia’s fourth destination in Egypt departing from Sharjah, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to offering affordable and accessible travel options to a diverse range of destinations. The existing destinations in Egypt include Cairo International Airport, Borg Al-Arab International Airport, and Sohag International Airport, further enhancing connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.
The new route not only expands Air Arabia’s footprint in the region but also facilitates economic, cultural, and tourism exchanges between the two nations. Passengers can look forward to cost-effective and efficient travel options while exploring the historical wonders of Giza City and its surroundings. This expansion is expected to boost the airline’s presence in the Middle East and enhance travel opportunities for a broad spectrum of passengers.
