New Zealand’s highest bravery medal was given to Pakistani men who attempted to stop the Christchurch attacker

For fighting the Christchurch Mosque shooter, Naeem Rashid, a teacher who came from Pakistan a decade ago, and another guy, Abdul Aziz, were awarded the highest gallantry award.

According to reports in the international press, the Pacific nation has awarded the New Zealand Cross to two Pakistani males who were involved in the Christchurch mosque incident.

Rashid chose martyrdom in order to stop the assailant, who killed 51 people and injured many more.

Dr. Naeem Rashid and his son were attending Friday prayers at the Al Noor mosque with dozens of others when a shooter stormed in and began fire on everyone he could.
