A student has been given 23 gold medals for her outstanding academic performance for the first time in the country’s history.
At the university’s 11th convocation, Noor Al Sabah, a medical student at King Edward Medical University in Lahore, was given 23 gold medals for first rank in various subjects.
Noor was also named the “best all-around graduate” at the convocation.
The Governor of Punjab also offered her a financial prize of Rs 10 lakh, while the Vice-Chancellor of KEMU gave her a cash prize of Rs 50,000.
