WhatsApp is planning to introduce a convenient solution for Android users who manage multiple accounts. This upcoming feature will allow users to switch between two different WhatsApp accounts on a single device.
This means you won’t need to carry an extra device or go through the hassle of repeated logins.
This feature is designed to make it easier to manage conversations on different WhatsApp accounts, especially if you have both work and personal profiles. It’s expected to become available in the next few weeks.
However, it’s important to note that you’ll still need a separate phone number and SIM card (or a device that supports multi-SIM or eSIM) to set up the second WhatsApp account.
Initially, a one-time passcode will be sent via SMS to the second account, which can be received on the second device or SIM card.
Once verified, you’ll be able to use the WhatsApp app seamlessly for both accounts without the need for the second device or SIM card.
