OGRA Jacks up LPG Price by Rs 12 Per Kg

The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was increased by Rs. 12 per kilogramme on Tuesday by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

The new price of petroleum gas increased and now stands at Rs278 per kilogramme. The residential 11.8 kilogramme LPG cylinder would now cost Rs3,278 as opposed to Rs3,141 at the previous pricing.

In the meantime, because of the drop in crude oil prices on the global market, it is anticipated that all petroleum product prices would decrease starting tomorrow (March 1).

Given that the cash-strapped nation is currently suffering record fuel prices, the coalition administration is anticipated to reduce fuel prices in order to pass on the global decline to consumers.
