The administration of the Two Holy Mosques recently shared that Al-Masjid an-Nabawi had a significant influx of visitors over the past week, with a total of 5,735,016 people visiting the mosque. Out of these, 527,152 visitors specifically came to pay their respects at the shrine of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
This announcement follows a previous report highlighting that in the Islamic year 1445 AH, the mosque welcomed a total of 281 million visitors and worshippers.
This represents a significant increase of 25 million visitors compared to the previous year, demonstrating the growing devotion and attendance at this sacred site.
Furthermore, the report noted that 11 million individuals performed prayers and paid their respects at the Prophet’s shrine during this period, reflecting an increase of 1.8 million compared to the previous year.
This surge in numbers showcases the deep spiritual connection that Muslims around the world have with Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, as they continue to visit in larger numbers year after year.
