The number of Pakistani pilgrims who have reached Saudi Arabia under the government Hajj scheme has increased to 61,147 as Hajj flight operations continue from different cities across Pakistan.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, an additional 4,875 pilgrims arrived in the holy cities during the past 24 hours.
The spokesperson said that the ongoing flight operation is continuing in a smooth and organized manner, with special arrangements in place to facilitate pilgrims.
Officials stated that thousands of Pakistani pilgrims are currently in Makkah and Madinah, where they are being provided accommodation, transport, food, and medical facilities under the government Hajj scheme. The arrangements are aimed at ensuring comfort and convenience for the pilgrims during their stay.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs said that more flights are scheduled in the coming days as the pre-Hajj operation continues. The process is expected to remain active until all registered pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia before the start of Hajj rituals.
Authorities added that coordination between Pakistan and Saudi officials has helped manage the large-scale operation effectively. Special teams are monitoring flight schedules, accommodation services, and health support for pilgrims.
Officials also reminded pilgrims to follow guidelines and cooperate with Hajj mission staff to ensure a smooth experience. They said that all necessary steps are being taken to avoid delays and ensure proper management of travel and accommodation services.
The government has emphasized that providing safe and well-organized Hajj facilities remains a top priority, and efforts are ongoing to improve services for pilgrims each year.
