COAS visited areas along the Line of Control (LoC) today, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). They informed him of the status of the LoC and the deployment readiness of the deployed forces.
The Secretary of War also met with the officers and soldiers stationed at the front. He urged the soldiers to do their best to help the local people, to stand firm and carry out their duties with the utmost integrity and dedication.
Asim Munir COAS appreciated the constant vigilance, good operational readiness and high morale of the officers and soldiers. He further said the Pakistani military is dedicated to defending Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity from any threat and promised to support Kashmir’s cause and desire the dissolution of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with UN resolutions.
Before Army Chief of Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited the Khuzdar and Basima regions of Balochistan province. Army Secretary Syed Asim Mounir was briefed on the current security situation and the operational readiness and measures of the force to ensure a peaceful and secure environment.
“We are aware of the nefarious designs of external enemies of Pakistan to disturb the hard-earned peaceful environment in Balochistan,” COAS remarked.
