Pak Army Generals to Donate One Month Salary for Flood Relief Operations

Federal cabinet members and Pakistan army announced to donate their 1 month salaries to the fund in order to cope with the flood emergency.

Cabinet member’s salary would be deposited in the PM’s flood relief fund. Since mid of June 900+ people died due to such triggered massive floods.

Pakistan Army announced to establish Army’s donation centers in all the main cities for collecting goods from masses and military media wing.

Additionally, all the general officers are instructed to donate their salary of a month for the flood relief operation.

The decision took place during the 250th Corps Commanders Conference hosted by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Moreover, Federal government directed SBP to initiated Prime Minister Flood Relief Fund and ask the banks to create awareness.

900+ people died, including 326 children who became the victim of massive flood. While some 2.3 million have been affected by an incident.
