Pak-Italy Discuss Bilateral Trade Of Worth $5 Billion

Italy values its connections with Pakistan above all else, and all attempts are being made to strengthen commercial ties with Islamabad, according to Italian Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese.

He said the Italian government was committed to strengthening connections with Pakistan in every field possible during a visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).

He claimed that because Italy has over $5 trillion in savings, it has adequate budgetary space to pursue investment projects, and that Pakistani investors should take advantage of these chances.

He emphasized that Pakistan and Italy have a huge potential to increase their bilateral trade volume to $5 billion. He mentioned that the construction, agriculture, and tourism sectors in Italy offered numerous potentials.

Italian visas with a three- to five-year validity period would be offered to potential investors from Pakistan, according to the envoy. This will benefit both business-to-business and commercial relations between the two countries.
