Pak Suzuki Increases Car Prices Upto Rs.134,000 ‘Owing To Mini-Budget’

Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has recently confirmed the rise in prices throughout its passenger car line-up, citing the recent ‘mini-budget’ as the reason.

“The government increased different taxes on practically all versions due to the latest mini budget, so Pak Suzuki has increased only those taxes,” according to a company statement.

“The Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) has requested an exemption with regard to pending orders up to the date of the mini budget’s approval. A response is awaited,” PSMC said referring to current deliveries.

Suzuki’s Cultus AGS model saw the most significant price increase of Rs 150,000. It is now available for Rs 2,422,000.
