On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Pakistan’s nuclear tests, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has shown its respect for the determination of the entire Pakistani nation. The tests were conducted on Youm-e-Takbeer in response to India’s provocative nuclear tests on May 28, 1998.
The PAF played a vital role during this time by transporting the nuclear device and sensitive equipment to the test site using their C-130 aircraft. Additionally, their fighter jets provided aerial protection before and during the tests. The PAF remained on high alert, ready to intercept any hostile aircraft that could have posed a threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty.
The PAF spokesperson emphasized that the commitment to safeguard Pakistan’s airspace remains steadfast. The PAF is vigilant and prepared to defend the nation’s aerial borders. They take pride in their significant contribution to this historic event.
On this memorable day, every member of the PAF reaffirms their dedication and commitment to defend the nation’s airspace with utmost devotion.
