On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Pakistan’s nuclear tests, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has shown its respect for the determination of the entire Pakistani nation. The tests were conducted on Youm-e-Takbeer in response to India’s provocative nuclear tests on May 28, 1998.
The PAF played a vital role during this time by transporting the nuclear device and sensitive equipment to the test site using their C-130 aircraft. Additionally, their fighter jets provided aerial protection before and during the tests. The PAF remained on high alert, ready to intercept any hostile aircraft that could have posed a threat to Pakistan’s sovereignty.
