Pakistan Army Team Wins Gold at UK’s Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2024

The Pakistan Army’s Cambrian Team has won a gold medal in the Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2024, setting a record with an outstanding score of 864 points, the highest ever achieved in the competition.

The team, from the 67 Punjab Regiment, competed against 118 other teams from across Europe in this prestigious event. The Cambrian Patrol is regarded as the British Army’s top All Arms Patrol Exercise and has been held for over 60 years.

During the competition, participants must cover a challenging 40-mile course in under 48 hours, facing various tests that push their soldiering skills to the limit. The event is designed to assess key military skills such as navigation, leadership, battlecraft, and the ability to endure and perform under extreme conditions.

Colonel Taimur Rahat, the UK Army and Air Adviser, emphasized that the exercise focuses on important military qualities like leadership, resilience, and tactical knowledge.

This marks the second year in a row that the 67 Punjab Regiment has excelled in the Cambrian Patrol, making this victory even more significant for Pakistan’s military. Their outstanding performance once again highlights their strength, skill, and determination in one of the toughest military exercises in the world.
