Pakistan won against India in the final match of the Emerging Asia Cup on 23rd July in Colombo. India decided to field first after winning the toss. Pakistan’s batters performed excellently and scored a huge total of 352 runs in 50 overs, losing 8 wickets.
Tayyab Tahir was the star of the innings, making an impressive century by scoring 108 runs. The opening batsmen, Saim Ayub (59) and Sahibzada Farhan (65), also played really well and contributed significantly to the team’s score. Omair Yousuf and Mubasir Khan added 35 runs each, playing their part in the good total.
India’s bowling, which was strong in the semi-finals, didn’t perform as effectively against the strong Pakistani batting lineup. Rajvardhan Hangargekar and Riyan Parag were the best bowlers for India, taking two wickets each. Harshit Rana, Manav Suthar, and Nishant Sindhu took one wicket each.
