Prof. Dr. Sardar Muhammad Al-freed Zafar, Principal of the Post Graduate Medical Institute, said that 100 qualified paramedics, including nursing students from the Nursing College and Lahore General Hospital, would be interested in the success of the Typhoid Immunization Campaign.

Children aged 9 months to 15 years will be vaccinated against typhoid during the program, which will also be included in the pediatric immunization course beginning next year.

The health official stressed that in order to rid Pakistan of multiple illnesses, it was also important to raise public consciousness about general health.

The campaign will continue from 1st to 15th February as per the plan prepared by the Punjab Health Department.
