Pakistan conducts successful flight test of Shaheen-1A ballistic missile.

According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan successfully conducted a flight test of the Shaheen-1A surface-to-surface ballistic missile.

The purpose of the test flight was to re-validate certain of the weapon system’s design and technical specifications. Lieutenant General Nadeem Zaki Manj, Chairman of NESCOM Dr Raza Samar, Commander Army Strategic Forces Command Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, and scientists and engineers from strategic organisations all saw the flying test.

Pakistan successfully test-fired a surface-to-surface Ghaznavi ballistic missile in August 2021. The successful training launch sought to ensure Army Strategic Forces Command’s operational preparedness while also re-validating technical parameters of the missile system.
