Pakistan Hockey Team Defeat China in Paris Olympics Qualifiers

The Pakistan hockey team achieved a significant victory in the Paris Olympics Qualifiers by defeating China with a scoreline of 2-0. This win keeps their hopes alive for participating in the upcoming major event.

During the initial half of the match, both Pakistan and China displayed a defensive style of play, resulting in no goals being scored. However, as the game progressed into the third quarter, the Green Shirts created notable opportunities.

In the 42nd minute, Pakistan took the lead when Abu Bakr scored from a penalty corner. The team further solidified their position nine minutes later when Abdul Rahman scored his first international goal, again from a penalty corner.

It’s worth noting that in their previous match, the Pakistan hockey team faced a tough 6-1 defeat against England, with Abdul Hanan Shahid managing to score the only goal.
