Former England captains Nasser Hussain and Eoin Morgan have pointed out concerns for Pakistan’s cricket team as they prepare for the ICC World Cup 2023 in India. Hussain mentioned that Pakistan’s spin bowlers haven’t been performing well lately, which could be problematic in Indian conditions that favor slow bowling.
He also highlighted the injuries to key fast bowlers like Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, which could impact Pakistan’s potent bowling attack. While Pakistan’s seamers and top-order batsmen are strong, their spinners, notably Shadab Khan, have been out of form.
However, both captains acknowledged Pakistan’s unpredictable nature, where they can go from poor to outstanding in ICC events.
