Today, on September 11th, we solemnly remember the 75th anniversary of the passing of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the father of our nation. To honor this occasion, Quran recitations and prayers will be held at Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi.
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah left us on this same day in 1948, shortly after leading our nation to independence.
President Dr. Arif Alvi has restated his commitment to shape Pakistan into a modern Islamic welfare state, following the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In his message, he emphasized the importance of sticking to the fundamental principles laid down by our nation’s founder. He stressed the need to prioritize the well-being of women, youth, and marginalized groups, along with focusing on education and reducing poverty to make Pakistan prosperous.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, in his message, highlighted that the best way to honor Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is by working towards making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state. He urged everyone to put aside differences and work together for Pakistan’s development, especially during challenging times, while staying true to the principles set by our nation’s founder.
