Pakistan Team Reach India Ahead of World Cup 2023

On Wednesday, the Pakistan cricket team arrived in India through Dubai, landing at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The group comprises 18 players and 13 support staff, and they were accompanied by a security team with more than 20 vehicles to ensure their safe journey to the hotel. This swift arrival came just two days after their departure to Dubai, and they are gearing up for their first practice match against New Zealand, scheduled for Friday.

Their bowling coach, Morne Morkel, and the team’s director, Mickey Arthur, will be joining them in Dubai and India, respectively. Pakistan’s World Cup journey kicks off on October 6 with a match against the Netherlands.

However, the highlight of their campaign is the much-anticipated clash against arch-rivals India on October 14 in Ahmedabad.

There was some uncertainty about Pakistan’s participation earlier due to visa delays, but this issue was resolved after India issued the required visas following a complaint to the ICC. Captain Babar Azam asked for fans’ prayers before they left for India, adding to the excitement and anticipation for the upcoming tournament.
