According to a report, Pakistan is planning to export donkey hides to China for processing purposes. The export of various products to China will be closely regulated, as revealed by official sources. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given approval for presenting a summary to the federal cabinet regarding this matter.
To facilitate bilateral trade, Pakistan and China will sign four protocols that specifically address the regulation of donkey hide exports. Additionally, the export of chili powder, beef, and dairy products to China will also be subject to regulation.
These protocols are aimed at ensuring compliance with China’s sanitary laws, regulations, and health and safety standards. The Ministry of Law and Justice has endorsed these protocols, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has raised no objections.
