Pakistan to Plant 10 Billion Trees in Saudi Arabia, MOU Signed

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have inked an agreement for large-scale tree planting in Saudi Arabia.

Pakistan will provide technical help to a Saudi Arabian tree-planting initiative worth $10 billion.

The Saudi Ministry of Environment has dispatched a delegation to Pakistan to carry out the agreement.

The Saudi group will visit plantation areas and learn about Pakistan’s tree-planting capabilities.

Malik Amin Aslam, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, said that green diplomacy between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will officially begin today during a news conference with the Saudi team following the signing ceremony.
