As per sources, Matt Hancock resigned when he got caught violating Covid-19 rules by kissing and hugging an assistant in his office, angering fellow members and the general public who have been living in compliance with the lockdown.

Hancock wrote a letter to PM after reigning in which he said, “We owe it to people who have sacrificed so much in this pandemic to be honest when we have let them down as I have done by breaching the guidance,”

Hancock’s substitute Sajid Javid is famous as the face of a modern, diverse and meritocratic Britain. Javid has previously held two of the main positions in government, acting as the finance minister from 2019 to 2020 and interior minister in 2018.
