Pakistani passport holders can now enter Qatar without a visa, provided they meet a few essential requirements. This initiative is part of Qatar’s effort to boost tourism, making it easier than ever for travelers from Pakistan.

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for visa-free entry into Qatar, travelers from Pakistan must meet these conditions:

  • Hold a Pakistani passport valid for at least six months
  • Have a confirmed return ticket or onward travel arrangements
  • Provide a hotel booking or proof of accommodation in Qatar
  • Show proof of funds to support their stay
  • Be free of any criminal record
  • Present a polio vaccination certificate if traveling directly from Pakistan

Growing Tourism in Qatar

Qatar’s tourism sector is booming, with a sharp rise in visitors during the first half of 2024, partly thanks to events like the AFC Asian Cup. Qatar Tourism reported a 28% increase in international visitors, totaling 2.6 million, with a majority arriving by air.
