Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz Secures Spot in 247 International Squash Championship Final

Pakistan’s Ahsan Ayaz has made it to the final of the 247 International Squash Championship in the United States. He secured a 3-0 victory against Egypt’s Karim Elbarbary in the semi-final, dominating the match with scores of 11-3, 11-7, and 11-0.

Ayaz, who is the second seed in the tournament, will now face Egypt’s Mohamed Sharaf, the third seed, in the final. Earlier, in the quarter-final, Ayaz defeated fellow Pakistani player Fawad Khalil with scores of 11-7, 11-5, and 11-5. This tournament has a total prize pool of $3,000, making the competition intense.

Ahsan Ayaz is no stranger to victory. He recently won the Colleyville Open Squash 2024 on September 1, where he defeated India’s Yash Bhargava 3-1 in the final. The match ended with scores of 11-6, 8-11, 11-3, and 11-8, showcasing Ayaz’s consistent performance.
