Pakistan’s NESCOM set to work with Turkish Aerospace Industries to produce Military Drones.

Turkish Aerospace (TUSAS) and Pakistan’s National Engineering and Science Commission signed an agreement on the margins of the recent International Defense Industry Fair in Istanbul (NESCOM).

As part of the deal inked to expand the markets for Turkish drones, TAI and NESCOM will be jointly responsible for employment, resource transfer, and technology transfer, according to an Anadolu Agency (AA) report published Saturday.

In September 2016, the Anka UAV flew for the first time, and mass manufacturing began in 2017. The Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), the General Command of the Gendarmerie, and the National Intelligence Organization are currently deploying drones made in Turkey (MIT).
