Catholic churches are currently helping the provincial government in northern Pakistan in order to distribute the laptops among the minority students of the region.
This laptop distribution scheme has launched this month; however, till now the Christian member of the National Assembly, Jamshed Thomas has distributed 24 laptops already among the Christian, Sikh and Hindu students in KP province of Pakistan.
According to the officials, Fathers and Sisters have distributed the laptops to 5 catholic.
According to the Father Mukhtar, “We had invited 38 candidates along with their parents for the Sunday Mass. However, due to scarcity of the funds, we opted for an open lottery in order to be fair to our parishioners.”
