Passport Facility will be Offered in These NADRA Mega Centers

The Director General of Immigration and Passports, Mustafa Jamal Qazi, has announced a significant expansion of passport services in Karachi. Two new passport offices will soon be operational within NADRA’s mega centers located in North Nazimabad and Siemens Chowrangi (SITE).

This initiative aims to ease the heavy burden on Karachi’s central passport office, which often experiences long queues and overcrowding. The new offices, strategically placed in busy areas of the city, are expected to provide faster and more convenient services for citizens.

During his recent visit to Karachi, Mustafa Jamal Qazi shared his vision for improving passport facilities nationwide. He highlighted the importance of these new offices in ensuring smoother service delivery and addressing the increasing demand for passport issuance.

In addition, the DG shared updates on the progress made in clearing passport backlogs across Pakistan. Since July 1, over 3.3 million passports have been printed, including normal, urgent, and fast-track categories. This milestone was achieved through the dedication of the production team, who worked tirelessly to meet the high demand.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art Passport and Immigration Headquarters in Islamabad, along with a new regional passport office operating 24/7.

These advancements reflect the government’s commitment to enhancing public services and streamlining passport processing for citizens.

The public is encouraged to visit the regional passport offices to collect their documents without waiting for notifications, as the delivery processes have been completed.

The expansion of passport services in Karachi and other cities is a step toward improving accessibility and efficiency for all.
