Petrol Prices Likely to Decrease by Over Rs 9 From August 15

Pakistan is expected to see a significant decrease in fuel prices starting from August 15. The price of petrol is likely to drop by over 9 rupees per liter, while high-speed diesel (HSD) may become cheaper by up to 8.50 rupees per liter. Additionally, kerosene oil is anticipated to see a price reduction of 12 rupees per liter.

The final decision regarding the price cuts will be made by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. This potential reduction follows a previous decrease in petrol and HSD prices.

Currently, the prices of fuel in Pakistan stand at 269.43 rupees per liter for petrol and 272.77 rupees per liter for HSD. If the expected price cuts are implemented, it will bring relief to consumers and have a positive impact on the economy.
