According to the announcement from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), there’s good news for Umrah pilgrims as fares have been slashed by a significant 30%. This reduction applies to passengers traveling to Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Dammam from April 7 to April 11, 2024. Additionally, PIA is offering up to 20% fare discounts for Umrah pilgrims during this period.
For economy class travelers, the fares have been reduced by up to Rs50,000. For instance, passengers from Lahore will now pay Rs103,680 for their journey, while those from Karachi and other South region cities will be charged Rs95,400.
In another recent development, PIA made headlines due to an incident involving one of its air hostesses in Canada. Reports suggest that the Canadian authorities found crystal meth, also known as ice, in her possession. It’s alleged that Hina Sani had the drugs hidden in her shoes.
