PIA’s First Flight Reached Paris After 4.5 Years

PIA has restarted its flights to Europe after a 4.5-year break following the lifting of the European Union’s ban. The first flight, PK 749, successfully traveled from Islamabad to Paris with 323 passengers on board.

PIA will now operate flights between Islamabad and Paris twice a week, offering greater convenience to Pakistanis living in Europe. This resumption is expected to provide a reliable travel option for overseas Pakistanis and help strengthen connections between the two regions.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised this development and congratulated the nation on the resumption of flights to Europe.

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif shared further good news, announcing that PIA plans to gradually expand its European operations. In addition to more destinations in Europe, PIA is also working on launching direct flights to the UK and the US in the near future.

This milestone marks a new chapter for PIA, as it works toward rebuilding its international operations and restoring its reputation.

The return to Europe is a significant step forward, reflecting efforts to improve the airline’s services and compliance with international standards.

The resumption of PIA flights to Europe not only brings relief to passengers but also signals progress for Pakistan’s aviation industry. With more destinations on the horizon, travelers can look forward to better connectivity and greater convenience in the coming months.
