In collaboration with the Youth Affairs Department, the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has launched an e-Rozgaar Training Programme.
Top IT experts and freelancers will provide free training to thousands of youngsters, according to a PITB release, helping them to earn by freelancing.
The e-Rozgaar Training Programme will provide educated young people with better earning opportunities by enhancing their technological skills and enabling them to work online for better earning chances.
The new training programme consists of 50 lectures over a span of three months at the end of which the PITB will grant certificates at the completion of training to qualified applicants. PITB will provide the enrolled candidates both online and on-campus training sessions.
Unemployed persons under the age of 35, with a minimum education of 16 years and domiciled in Punjab, are eligible to apply for the most recent e-Rozgaar Training Programme.
So far through various e-Rozgaar projects, PITB has trained 24,000 candidates and they have earned Rs. 350 million through freelancing.
