PM Flood Relief Fund: Ahsan Iqbal Wants Overseas Pakistanis to Donate

The chairman of the Federal Flood Relief Committee and minister for planning, Ahsan Iqbal recently ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to provide guidance to Pakistani living abroad on how to donate to the Prime Minister’s Flood Relief Fund.

Ahsan motivated Pakistani embassies to provide information about donation on their websites and to initiate a campaign to raise funds for flood victims with the help of overseas Pakistanis.

Further, he highlighted that the whole country is fighting with the calamity of climate change collectively.

However, the federal government and the armed forces are providing the provincial governments their full assistance.

Moreover, he worried that helping flood victims receive relief, rescue, and rehabilitation is the government’s basic priority.
