PM Imran Khan announces Rs35 billion subsidy on construction of houses for low income people.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has stated that the government is providing subsidies and incentivizing the construction industry in order to assist low-income people in owning a home.

He made these remarks during a ceremony at the Farash Town Apartments project of the Naya Pakistan Housing Authority in Islamabad on Friday.

The prime minister announced that Rs35 billion had been set aside for housing subsidies for low-income households. He stated that the government would grant a subsidy of Rs 300,000 per house for the first 100,000 units.

While a hundred thousand apartments are now under construction, Imran Khan claims that the process will now proceed more quickly once the structure is completed.
