PM Imran Khan inaugurates 293 km Hakla-Dera Ismail Khan motorway.

In the country’s federal capital, Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the Hakla-Dera Ismail Khan Motorway on Wednesday (today).

According to a report by Pakistan’s leading news agency, the 293-kilometer Hakla-D.I. Khan Motorway is an important part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor’s western route (CPEC).

As a result of the freeway, the areas of Dera Ismail Khan, North Punjab, South Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan will emerge as an economic centre, facilitating the transfer of agricultural products to large markets.

According to the research, the motorway has 11 interchanges, 36 bridges, 33 flyovers, and 189 underpasses.
