PM Kakar Participate in China-Pak Business Forum Held in Beijing

During the Pakistan-China Business Forum at the Kempinski Hotel in Beijing, Pakistani Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar highlighted the strong and enduring partnership between China and Pakistan. He emphasized the significance of mutual trust and cooperation, which he believes will lead to a promising future for both nations.

The Prime Minister noted that the occasion coincides with the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a monumental development in their partnership. He commended the transformative impact of this collaboration on Pakistan’s socio-economic development, citing improvements in infrastructure, technology, and employment opportunities.

Kakar stressed that the people of Pakistan have witnessed the positive outcomes of this cooperation, which have dispelled doubts and misunderstandings. He emphasized the need to sustain this development and extend its benefits to neighboring countries, such as Afghanistan and the broader region.

The Prime Minister expressed a commitment to creating new growth drivers to enhance the well-being of the region’s majority, particularly farmers. He underscored the determination of both China and Pakistan to strengthen regional trade, explore additional cooperation opportunities, and serve billions of people, fostering a brighter future.

Kakar also mentioned plans for deeper cooperation discussions, focusing on diversification and innovation, building upon the Industrial Cooperation Framework Agreement from 2020. He warmly invited Chinese companies to invest in Pakistan, fostering an atmosphere of openness and collaboration between the two nations. This reaffirms the strategic significance of the China-Pakistan partnership in advancing regional development and prosperity.
