On Monday, PM Shehbaz Sharif officially opened the Islamabad Metro bus service from Peshawar Mor to New Islamabad International Airport.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Turkey’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mustafa Yurdakul, China’s Charge d’Affaires Pang Chunxue and MPs.
The Peshawar Mor-Islamabad airport route would initially be served by up to 13 buses. And will be the first bus service on this route, helping thousands of commuters every day.
At the ceremony here in Islamabad, the Prime Minister thanked the governments of China and Turkey for the Islamabad subway bus project.
He also thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) infrastructure projects.
