PM Shehbaz Sharif Lays Foundation Stone of Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway

Recently, PM Shehbaz Sharif put down the foundation stone of the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway M-6 at Sukkur.

PM Shehbaz Sharif visited Sukkur in order to lay down the foundation stone of the Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway.

On an inauguration ceremony of the project, Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Communications, Maulana Asad, Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah and others also attended the occasion.

306 kms Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) is the only remaining part of the Peshawar Karachi Motorway, which is connecting to the major and important cities of Pakistan.

It is expected that the project would be finished in around 2.5 years under Public Private Partnership.

While speaking at the occasion PM Shehbaz Sharif stated that it was the matter of satisfaction for the coalition government in order to restart the construction work of the M-6 motorway that faced a dragged out delay due to the carelessness of the last government.
