Recently, Governing Council of the Pakistan Super League decided to have the mega cricket event from 9 February to 19 March by next year, PCB stated.
PCB chairman called up for a meeting, where board stated that the council met in Lahore at the National High-Performance Centre with the representative of all the six franchises in attendance.
However, the council decided that the 4 venues would be utilized for hosting the matches i.e Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan.
The franchises was also updated on the status of PSL 7. Whereas, the council was also provided an update on commercial matters relating to PSL 7 and PSL 8.
Follow up meetings would be conducted next week in order to finalize the plans for PSL 8 with all in agreement to work with keen eyes so that could achieve their common goals for the league.
Moreover, this year PSL was played from 27 January to 27 February where the Lahore Qalandars took the trophy as the winners of the tournament.
