PTA Ranks Ufone 4G as Pakistan’s No.1 Voice and Data Network

As per the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) ‘Mobile Networks Benchmark Report for 2022,’ Ufone 4G has been ranked as the No. 1 Voice and Data network for Pakistan.

PTA assessed service quality all around the country using the Network Performance Score (NPS) methodology. The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has standardized this as an integrated and advanced methodology, that allows regulators to determine network performance through automated tests of simulated Voice, Data, and SMS consumption behaviours of end-users.

Further, the report highlights the company’s strong focus on delivering the best and highest quality connectivity to its customers in order to improve their user experience.

Also, the company’s Voice and Data services received the maximum aggregate total of 634 out of 800 in the countrywide benchmarking campaign; and Ufone 4G stood in the first place.

However, Ufone 4G achieved the highest scores for its Voice and Data services, with a huge margin against the industry standards and other Cellular Mobile Operators (CMOs) in Pakistan.

Additionally, to find out the quality of mobile networks, this study was conducted across all federal and provincial capitals, as well as four key motorways and highways. In these areas, PTA survey teams made approximately over 15 thousand voice calls and did 45 thousand data tests across an area of about 4,522 kilometres.
