PTV has announced the airing of another series portraying the narrative of the last Ottoman ruler, Sultan Abdul Hamid II, as the fan base for Turkish drama series continues to grow with the premiere of Diriliş: Erturul.
The state-run broadcaster announced on Twitter that Payitaht: Abdülhamid will be shown in Urdu.
“Following Ertugrul Ghazi’s historic triumph, PTV will telecast the storey of a Sultan who has a sincere commitment to the love of the Prophet (PBUH).”
The drama series’ debut episode will air on February 9, and it will air every Wednesday through Sunday at 7:55 p.m.
Payitaht: Abdülhamid stars Bülent İnal and Özlem Conker and tells the storey of Abdul Hamid II’s final 13 years in power.
