The Punjab Agriculture Department has recently announced several job opportunities under the Inclusive Agriculture Transformation (PRIAT) Project, which is funded by the World Bank. 1. Project Director
- Salary: Rs. 600,000 per month, including annual increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- 13 years of education in Agricultural Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, or Water Resource Management from an HEC-recognized university.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, particularly in project management related to water management, irrigation, and drainage systems.
2. Deputy Project Director
- Salary: Rs. 450,000 per month with increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Agricultural Management, Irrigation Engineering, or equivalent with at least a 2nd division.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing agricultural development projects, particularly those focused on irrigation systems.
3. Audit and Taxation Specialist
- Salary: Rs. 450,000 per month with increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Taxation, or equivalent (such as ACCA/ACMA) from an HEC-recognized university with at least a 2nd division.
- 5 years of post-qualification experience in audit and taxation, preferably in government or donor-funded projects.
4. Agricultural Marketing Specialist
- Salary: Rs. 250,000 per month with increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness Development, Agronomy, or equivalent with at least a 2nd division.
- 8 years of experience in horticulture, agriculture marketing, agribusiness development, and related fields.
5. Communication Specialist
- Salary: Rs. 250,000 per month with increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Communication, Social Sciences, or related fields from an HEC-recognized university.
- 5 years of experience in developing and managing communication strategies for projects, including the use of print, electronic, and social media.
6. Gender Specialist
- Salary: Rs. 250,000 per month with increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in gender policy implementation, especially within government or donor-funded projects.
7. Trainer (Technical)
- Salary: Rs. 175,000 per month with increments.
- Age Limit: Up to 50 years.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Water Engineering, or equivalent with a 2nd division.
- 5 years of experience in relevant technical training, particularly in agriculture and water management projects.
